Colors-Red and White

Official colors contibute to the organization's national unity and provide identity. Red suggest strength, courage and detemination. Personal qualities leading to happiness through a positive self image. White symbolizes sincerity of purpose and intergrity of action; qualities that will help individuals build a better tomorrow. Red and White may be used effectively in many ways for FCCLA meetings, such as wearing red and white uniforms, displaying the FCCLA emblem or using red and white decorations.

What is FCCLA?

It is one of the largests career and technology students organization in the United States. The orginization encourage personal growth and leadeship development in teens through family and consumers sciences. Any sudent, 7th through 12th grade, who is taking or has taken a course of family and comsumer sciences, can become a member. Each year over 200,000 students join over 10,000 chapters in 53 states association including the Distric of Columcia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Students may participate in various projects related to the family, careers and community involvment. FCCLA is the only student lead orginization with the family as its central focus.
